I founded Boujee Bahamas out of a passion for luxury travel, elevated experiences, and a deep love for The Bahamas. As someone who is on the ground in Nassau, I recognized there was a gap in the market for high-touch concierge services that truly combined local expertise with world-class hospitality. Travelers wanted insider access, trusted connections, and curated experiences that felt exclusive yet effortless. That vision became the foundation of Boujee Bahamas.
What started as a passion project quickly evolved into a luxury concierge and lifestyle brand focused on creating bespoke experiences for travelers from around the world. It definitely has not been a completely smooth road, but every challenge has helped shape the brand into what it is today. One of the biggest challenges has been staying true to the vision of Boujee Bahamas as a luxury concierge and lifestyle brand rather than allowing it to become a traditional travel agency model.
From the beginning, I knew I wanted to focus on delivering highly personalized, elevated experiences for an ultra-high-net-worth clientele. In today’s market, there can be pressure to appeal to everyone or scale quickly by moving toward volume-based tourism, but that was never my goal. I’ve remained intentional about keeping Boujee Bahamas centered around exclusivity, discretion, relationships, and exceptional service.
Serving the UHNWI market requires a completely different level of execution, trust, and attention to detail. These clients expect seamless experiences, immediate solutions, strong local connections, and a level of personalization that goes far beyond simply booking a trip. Building the infrastructure, partnerships, and reputation necessary to consistently deliver at that level takes time, patience, and persistence.
Another challenge has been educating people on the difference between luxury concierge services and traditional travel planning. Boujee Bahamas is not simply about reservations or itineraries — it’s about curating experiences and creating access. That distinction has been very important to me as the brand has grown.
At the same time, being on the ground in Nassau has been one of my greatest advantages because it allows me to personally oversee details, maintain strong local relationships, and ensure our clients receive authentic yet elevated experiences throughout The Bahamas.
While entrepreneurship always comes with challenges, I’ve learned that staying aligned with your vision and values is what creates long-term success. Remaining committed to the luxury market and building a brand while also getting our brand out to the UHNWI market has been a challenge, but staying rooted in excellence, personalization, and authenticity has been incredibly rewarding.
